ePrime: Villars group Philippines

The Villars group is a large conglomerate in the Philippines with business including many residential and commercial property assets. In addition, they provide transportation services for their customers, and tenants. The Primetap card (http://primetap.com.ph/) is a fast and efficient way for people to use the new bus network and also to pay for various services, utility bills and even in the local supermarkets.

Silverleap has been working with Villar since 2016 on planning and launching a comprehensive cash replacement service, which first went live in summer 2017, with Premium Point-to-Point-Bus Service, under their Metro Express brand, and is rolling out further new services on a regular basis through to 2018.

HCE Ticket Proof of Concept – RTA Dubai

With a vision of safe and smooth transport for all, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is responsible for planning and executing transport and traffic projects in Dubai. After successfully winning an open public tender, Silverleap with its local UEA partner designed and delivered a fully working production ready proof of concept, working in close collaboration with RTA.

Using HCE (Host Card Emulation) securely for mass transit cards is a significant technical challenge that Silverleap overcame and in conjunction with RTA’s technical team provided a complete and security audited solution for deploying the RTA nol card to Android NFC phones. This allows the phone to act as a ‘virtual’ nol card and to work on suitably modified readers as if it were as real nol card. Reloading cash on the card can be achieved via the mobile app, also delivered as part of the project.

Touch transit card: Dialog Sri Lanka

In 2015, Dialog, the largest mobile operator in Sri Lanka, was looking to extend the use of its mobile money platform eZcash. In partnership with Silverleap the Touch transit card was launched, together with a network of card top merchants and a Bus network fare collection capability.

Bringing specialist smartcard and mobile device knowledge and skills Silverleap designed and deployed an acquiring network for Touch cards integrated with the eZCash mobile money platform. Verified by rigorous security audits and now proven in operation, with additional services as a fuel card, Touch is a proven success with over 350,000 cards in circulation and an ambitious growth plan ahead.
